I seek to be the enemy of YHVH in all things
My will unchained from his flesh, flesh turned on its creator

The false god’s miracles ripped to shreds, his subjects suffering

The whores seek to sate their carnal lusts

And now, I violently turn against all flesh that’s before me
My own, that of enemies, and even the son of man
Frenzied now, I lose myself in wrath against all life
My human will dissolved and replaced with a devil’s

Venom dripping from the lightbringer’s jaws
I welcome this poison into my veins
I am life, and thus deserve its pain
But I shall spread this death upon all flesh!

I can't formally retract the erroneous 2.0 I gave this back in 2018, but I can say that, five years on, I've come around to this record in a big way. Quality death metal with great atmosphere without being "atmospheric" (read: boring) metal. Diabolus in Muzaka

Outstanding death metal with blackened touches. For those who dig Beherit, Cryptopsy or Demoncy, check out this LP. Much of this LP owes its brilliance to those who went before; that is, this artist does not deny metal traditions. But there is no pre-fabricated art here, as there is a strong, unique vision in all of the songwriting. The riffs all make sense in their given context; there's nothing that seems superfluous. Very highly recommended listening. Look forward to more from Blood Urn! Wow! xhrl_

Purposeful, this LP’s metal consists primarily of low-to-mid-paced riffs from doom, DM, & BM. These are complemented by influences from prog-rock, in which tonal contrasts add nuance & a way of connecting parts within the album. Everything is structured with meticulous care, avoiding the wild-blend sensation that seems at best pretentious & at worst aimless.
